The guide has resources that you can use to learn more about Sondheim, listen to and watch many of his shows, and choose sheet music for your own performance of Sondheim's hits or underappreciated songs.
This LibGuide is designed for all. It’s likely that most of the music students at Shorter University, especially those studying musical theater, will have heard of Sondheim, and it’s also likely that many would be interested in hearing more about him. Some may enjoy his work and want to know more about him as a person; others, especially those who have aspirations to write music and lyrics themselves, may want to learn about his craft and how he wrote his musicals; performing arts students may want to find songs of his to sing and aim to star in one of his musicals.
