What is Grammar?

According to Cambridge Dictionary, grammar is (the study or use of) the rules about how words change their form and combine with other words to make sentences. This guide is intended to help you find resources to gain a better grasp on grammar and tools to improve!

Here's something to think about:

In his witty but informative book “The Elephants of Style:  A Trunkload of Tips on the Big Issues and Gray Areas of Contemporary American English”, Walsh notes, “Language evolves, but at each instant in that evolution there will be ways of writing that will strike educated readers as ignorant.”  He continues, “[I]f you, too, are in the business of writing,” and as students, you are, “you have to answer one big question: Do you want to look stupid?”

That's why you should care about grammar!
